Founded in the heart of Hawai'i, the Center for Learning and Fellowship Services grew from a simple idea: that one person's gift — a song taught, a garden planted, a hand extended — can ripple outward to transform a whole community. We are educators, gardeners, musicians, and neighbors working together to build something lasting.
Our programs are rooted in the belief that learning, fellowship, and service are the foundations of a thriving community.
We make music education accessible to everyone — regardless of age, ability, or experience. From ukulele circles to music theory workshops, our programs meet people where they are. We adapt materials for diverse learners, including those with vision challenges, and teach across genres from classical to contemporary.
Our gardens are more than places to grow food — they're classrooms, gathering spaces, and symbols of what we can build together. Volunteers learn sustainable growing practices suited to Hawai'i's climate while building friendships and feeding their neighbors.
We connect experienced community members with those seeking guidance — whether in music, gardening, career skills, or life transitions. Our mentorship circles create intergenerational bonds that strengthen the whole community.
